I learned to spin about 18 years ago, and really became addicted after settling down and having kids. It's a relaxing way to spend time, and
show my creativity.
All of my handspun yarn is spun with love on my Kromski spinning wheel. I am trying to get most of my rovings and fleece from small
farms around the US. All of the angora used in my yarn is from my own Angora Rabbits.
Pricing
I charge based on weight and yardage. I feel that this gives me a fair wage, and you a fair price. The weight will vary, depending on the the price of the fiber. Because this varies, you can e-mail me for my
current wool prices. For 4 ounces, the fiber price will be between $4 to $12, unless it is a special luxury fiber. I only charge the cost
of the fiber.
The yardage is my actual wage, and I charge .09 cents per yard for single ply and .16 cents for double ply.
